for building a coalition to accelerate anti-racist and culturally relevant education
Education Leaders of Color is a member organization that ensures young people of color have the support they need to thrive, capitalize on opportunities, and build generational wealth. With this grant, the group will build a coalition with approximately 300 practitioners, leaders, and other stakeholders who are successfully developing and implementing pre-K-12 United States history, social studies, and geography curricula that are racially inclusive, anti-racist, culturally relevant, and equitable for all students but especially students of color; provide communication, implementation, and change management strategies for school leaders; and identify longer-term initiatives for the field based on input from the coalition, an advisory committee, and learnings through strategic action planning.
