Overview
The New Pluralists, a fiscally sponsored project of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, seeks a paradigm shift in how Americans relate to each other across our differences. To do that, the collaborative hopes to catalyze a sea change in the mindsets, values, skills, and behaviors we embrace as individuals, and the behaviors we enact in our institutions and communities, in order to foster a bigger sense of “we” and equip all of us to work well together in a more pluralistic democracy.

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA) is a global nonprofit that accelerates philanthropy in pursuit of a just world. Founded in 2002, RPA has facilitated more than $4 billion in grantmaking to more than 70 countries and currently advises on and manages more than $500 million in annual giving by individuals, families, foundations, and corporations. RPA also serves as a fiscal sponsor for more than 100 projects, providing governance, management, and operational infrastructure to support their charitable purposes. In 2023, RPA launched the Foresight and Futures Initiative to help philanthropy institutionalize practices offered by the disciplines of foresight and futurism. This grant is for project support of the Foresight and Futures Initiative.
