Overview
Fund for Shared Insight is a funder collaborative working to improve philanthropy, informed by insights from the people we serve. Shared Insight emerged from the belief that we as funders are most effective, and can do more good in the world, if we are more open to listening to, and acting on, feedback from the people we seek to help. While the Hewlett Foundation is a core funder of the Fund for Shared Insight overall, this grant specifically supports the participation of five organizations in the Fund for Shared Insight’s signature national grant initiative, Listen for Good, which supports the implementation of high-quality feedback loops at nonprofits serving diverse populations.

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA) is a global nonprofit that accelerates philanthropy in pursuit of a just world. Founded in 2002, RPA has facilitated more than $4 billion in grantmaking to more than 70 countries and currently advises on and manages more than $500 million in annual giving by individuals, families, foundations, and corporations. RPA also serves as a fiscal sponsor for more than 100 projects, providing governance, management, and operational infrastructure to support their charitable purposes. In 2023, RPA launched the Foresight and Futures Initiative to help philanthropy institutionalize practices offered by the disciplines of foresight and futurism. This grant is for project support of the Foresight and Futures Initiative.
