Overview
Edna McConnell Clark Foundation incubated the PropelNext initiative, a three-year capacity-building program that supports organizations serving disadvantaged youth in using data to inform learning in an ongoing way. This grant covers the expenses for program services (group learning sessions, coaching, and learning resources) for five organizations to participate in PropelNext: Enterprise for Youth, Generation Citizen, Oakland Leaf, Safe Passages, and ScriptEd; it provides a complement to the general operating support grant made directly to these five organizations.

Grants to this Grantee
for funding for three PropelNext organizations
As part of the second round of partnership with the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation on PropelNext, three organizations in the Bay Area will receive funding, training, coaching sessions, and peer learning sessions all intended to support the development of stronger data-driven, performance-based cultures and systems. The three organizations, Code Nation, Enterprise for Youth, and Safe Passages, serve a range of youth living in disadvantaged communities and attending under-resourced schools.
