Grants to this Grantee
for advancing researchers’ responsiveness to policymakers in East and West Africa
The Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP) is a southern-led global organization that is dedicated to supporting and developing capacity for locally led, gender-sensitive policy analysis in developing countries. With this grant, PEP will support research organizations in East and West Africa to translate existing evidence and data into policy actions that respond to policy challenges as they emerge. (Strategy: Evidence-Informed Policymaking)
for support to expand macro-level solutions for women’s economic empowerment in Cameroon, Burkina Faso, and Tanzania
As an African-headquartered research and capacity-strengthening organization, the Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP) works with national research teams throughout the Global South to develop high-quality, locally generated evidence to inform better decisions in policy and practice. This grant will allow PEP to build on its emerging gendered economic analysis focal area by working with national research teams and evidence users in Cameroon, Burkina Faso, and Tanzania to produce demand-driven gender-responsive policy solutions. (Strategy: International Women’s Economic Empowerment)
