Overview
The Jangandoo program is a periodic, independent assessment of the quality of learning of children from six to eighteen years in Senegal, modeled on the civil society assessments of learning that the Hewlett Foundation has supported in India (ASER), East Africa (Uwezo), and Mali (Bèekungo). The Jangandoo assessment measures children’s reading, math, and general knowledge against competencies expected for children in grade 3.
