Overview
Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors provides research and counsel on charitable giving; develops philanthropic programs; and offers program, administrative, and management services for foundations and trusts. This renewal grant would help education agencies and nonprofit organizations in five to fifteen key states make comprehensive plans to successfully adopt, fund, and deploy Common Core-aligned assessments. This work increases the likelihood that a significant percentage of students are assessed on key deeper learning knowledge and skills.

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA) is a global nonprofit that accelerates philanthropy in pursuit of a just world. Founded in 2002, RPA has facilitated more than $4 billion in grantmaking to more than 70 countries and currently advises on and manages more than $500 million in annual giving by individuals, families, foundations, and corporations. RPA also serves as a fiscal sponsor for more than 100 projects, providing governance, management, and operational infrastructure to support their charitable purposes. In 2023, RPA launched the Foresight and Futures Initiative to help philanthropy institutionalize practices offered by the disciplines of foresight and futurism. This grant is for project support of the Foresight and Futures Initiative.
