Overview
Achieve plans to work with a set of states to support training in the OER tools and guidelines developed under a previous grant and help ensure their widespread adoption. The project also will assist a small number of states as they shift to OER-based curriculum and instructional tools.

Achieve is an independent, nonpartisan education reform organization dedicated to working with states to raise academic standards and graduation requirements, improve assessments, and strengthen accountability. States adopting new college- and career-ready assessments of student achievement will work voluntarily with Achieve to "test the test" by gauging alignment to state standards, quality of content, and depth of cognitive demand. Ensuring that measurement of deeper learning outcomes is accurate, useful, and widespread will require states to adopt high-quality assessment systems rather than choose them primarily on the basis of price or test duration.
