Overview
This renewed grant would support the State Higher Education Executive Officers Association in its ongoing work to help the two federally funded state assessment consortia develop tests of college readiness that will be accepted and used by higher education. This national organization’s goals are to (1) encourage the consortia to develop assessments of abilities likely to be of greatest concern to college and university faculty, such as deeper learning skills; (2) assist the consortia’s communications efforts to shape messages that will be well received by higher education audiences; and (3) facilitate strong working relationships with influential postsecondary leaders at the state and national levels.
