Overview
Yerba Buena Center for the Arts is the region's preeminent contemporary arts center; its performing arts series has solidified the Center's position as a key presenter of important works by Bay Area, national, and international performing artists of diverse artistic perspectives who are at different stages of their careers. The Center's focus on cross-disciplinary performance carries through in its commissions of new work, as well as collaborations between artists from different geographic areas. Its Community Rentals program serves an important complementary role by providing subsidized theater space for a broad range of performing artists and organizations.
