The Strategic Education Research Partnership Institute (SERP) generates innovative, scalable solutions to our schools’ most pressing problems through sustained collaborations among researchers, practitioners, and designers. SERP works to increase equity, improve student learning, and give teachers and students greater agency. This grant sponsors SERP’s 20th Anniversary Event. (Strategy: K-12 Teaching and Learning)
for work with the San Francisco Unified School District to adopt the Common Core standards
For three years, the Institute has been working with the San Francisco Unified School District to develop a set of instructional tools to assist students with mathematics. This grant would further that earlier work, helping teachers transition to the Common Core by strengthening math assessments used in their classrooms.
