for a fellowship program for postdoctoral and early-career scholars
The American Educational Research Association encourages scientific inquiry related to education and evaluation, and it promotes the dissemination and practical application of research results. The association is selecting eight postdoctoral and early-career scholars as Study of Deeper Learning Fellows. They will conduct substantive research using the data set generated by the recent American Institutes for Research (AIR) study of deeper learning schools. This grant also provides supplemental support for AIR staff to serve as mentors. Creating a strong cadre of researchers engaged in deeper learning research will expand the knowledge base around deeper learning outcomes.
