Funders for Reproductive Equity

For A Rockwood Leadership Institute Cohort To Build A More Cohesive Reproductive Justice Movement

Overview
This grant to the Funders for Reproductive Equity will support a leadership development cohort for members of the reproductive health, rights, and justice movement at the Rockwood Leadership Institute. The aim of this project is to catalyze a shift in the leadership and collaboration capacity of leaders working in this sector by (a) increasing the individual effectiveness of movement leaders through three fellowship cohorts; and (b) providing opportunities for relationship building, dialogue, partnership, and collaboration within each cohort. Through this fellowship, leaders will be better positioned to diversify and strengthen the field over the long term.

Grants to this Grantee
for the Funders for Reproductive Equity 2024 Summer Membership Meeting
This grant is to sponsor the Funders for Reproductive Equity 2024 Summer Membership Meeting which will gather reproductive health, rights and justice movement leaders, grantmakers, and strategists. The meeting will be an opportunity for participants to share developments about resourcing reproductive health, rights, and justice; expanding access to holistic reproductive health services; and supporting movement leaders so they can thrive. (Strategy: U.S. Reproductive Equity)
for general operating support
This grant supports the Funders for Reproductive Equity to advance sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice (SRHRJ) within philanthropy, centering racial and gender justice. A community of funders focused on SRHRJ in the U.S. and globally, it organizes annual member conferences, curates, and disseminates relevant information on the SRHRJ landscape, and offers meaningful learning opportunities and platforms to build strategic collaborative partnerships. The organization aims to deepen understanding of the intrinsic links between threats to SRHRJ and the backsliding of democracy so that funders can expand cross-movement grantmaking efforts. (Strategy: Global Reproductive Equity)
