Overview
The Water Integrity Network is an international nongovernmental organization that works to improve transparency, citizen participation, and accountability in the water sector within select countries and globally. Through this grant, it will build the capacity of local civil society organizations, water user associations, and water activists in Kenya and Benin to use tools and strategies that enable citizen oversight of water services. They will also build coalitions to advocate for more responsive government provision and regulation of water services. The Water Integrity Network will share what it has learned from these country-level programs with its members, and organize global advocacy campaigns to promote better water governance.
