As the largest budget opera company on the West Coast, San Francisco Opera presents an annual season of ten productions with seventy-five performances for 275,000 audience members each year. In addition, the company offers family-friendly programs, free opera in the park, training and performance opportunities for emerging opera artists, and in-school education programs for more than 10,000 Bay Area public school students each year. More than 3 million virtual audience members are served through simulcast programs and radio broadcasts, including 27,000 people that attend its annual Opera in the Ballpark simulcast at AT&T Park. With renewed support, San Francisco Opera would expand its community engagement programs and implement a fundraising plan to ensure it has the financial resources to remain a world-class company.
