Overview
This grant to Amref Health Africa will provide flexible support for the Advocacy Accelerator (AAC), a pan-African platform that stimulates locally driven advocacy by engaging advocates, technical assistance providers, and donors. The AAC aims for a strengthened advocacy ecosystem with better coordination among country-based advocates capable of implementing effective advocacy strategies leading to change in government policies and development practice. During the grant period, the AAC will bolster its internal operations as it transitions to an independent organization and continues to consolidate its activities to support African health and development advocates to achieve greater impact.
