Grants to this Grantee
for support of a cyber policy research agenda for India
A grant to the Centre for Internet and Society (CIS) will support its efforts to carry out interdisciplinary research that balances societal imperatives for citizens, governments, and industry alike. Its four proposed research areas and outcomes, some of which build off existing work, include: (a) emerging technologies and cybersecurity; (b) frameworks for cybersecurity nationally and internationally; (c) cybersecurity and its impact on human rights; and (d) the private sector and cybersecurity. As CIS’s work and institutional capacity develop, its aim is to become a leading civil society voice in the cybersecurity dialogue at the national, regional, and international level in India.
