Overview
The Cleveland State University Foundation’s mission is to raise, receive, and manage private gifts for the advancement and benefit of Cleveland State University. This grant will support the Center for Urban Education at Cleveland State University in their research practice partnership with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and the American Institutes for Research. The research practice partnership conducts and shares high-quality research at the direction of the school district community to inform structures and processes for improving instruction and meeting the needs of student, staff, and parents. The research agenda is set and refined on an annual basis by its steering committee, a diverse stakeholder group of representatives from all three institutions. This grant will allow them to research issues of learning loss, social emotional learning, and the efficacy of personalized learning. (Substrategy: Educator Capacity)
