Overview
The Environmental Health Coalition is the fiscal sponsor of a coalition of six leading environmental justice groups in California called the California Environmental Justice Alliance. The Alliance’s Renewable Energy Committee supports state and local policies on renewable energy and energy efficiency and works to ensure that these policies are designed and implemented in ways that are equitable, which in turn helps build support for clean energy among California’s increasingly important majority communities of color. In Los Angeles, the Alliance would work to build public support for clean energy and energy efficiency programs at the city's utility.
