Overview
The Stanford History Education Group at Stanford University considers how history is taught and learned, and more recently has focused on how young people evaluate online content. This grant will support the administration of assessments of civic online reasoning to a nationally representative sample of high school students and the dissemination of the results. This work will demonstrate the utility and feasibility of developing new measures of deeper learning while also contributing to the research base establishing the connection between deeper learning and civic engagement among young people.
