Overview
The African Institute for Development Policy aims to bridge the gaps among research, policy, and practice by enabling use of evidence in government decision making around development challenges. The Enabling Evidence-Informed Development Policies in Sub-Saharan Africa project has two goals: (a) to strengthen African governments’ technical capacity to use evidence to take advantage of the potential demographic dividend through changes in policies and practices and (b) to increase uptake of evidence by African parliamentary committees to strengthen their decision making and policy oversight.
