The gap between the investment needed for achieving Paris Agreement goals and current capital flows is hundreds of billions of dollars annually. The cost of the data, modeling, software development, and computing required to mobilize capital are too high for any one firm to do it alone. This grant will help identify ways an open source collaboration platform (called OS-C) can effectively involve the banking community, and help banking customers avoid climate risk and support climate solutions.
