Overview
The United Nations Foundation serves as the institutional host for the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data. The partnership will increase generation of, access to, and use of new and traditional data sources to help achieve and measure the Sustainable Development Goals. The partnership will connect people, institutions, and initiatives to solve problems related to data gaps, access, and use and build trust around data sharing. This grant will support the start-up activities associated with establishing the secretariat for the partnership, and for providing the operational support to the programmatic work of the partnership as led by its governance body and working groups.

for the U.S. Climate Alliance
The U.S. Climate Alliance is a bipartisan coalition of governors representing 24 states, with more than 60% of U.S. GDP, 55% of the U.S. population, and 40% of U.S. emissions. These governors are committed to driving the nation’s ambitious climate agenda by working in partnership with each other, the federal government, and the international community. The alliance has an important role to play in implementation of federal climate investment laws by supporting state engagement with federal agencies, supporting the development of state decarbonization plans, and supporting effective deployment of federal dollars to drive decarbonization and community economic development.
