Overview
The Wiki Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization that encourages and supports faculty and student contributions to Wikipedia in academic settings. This grant will provide general support to the Wiki Education Foundation to cultivate deeper learning for students through Wikipedia-based assignments, to expand the public’s access to open knowledge and content, and to improve Wikipedia’s specific content coverage. This work will further the Education Program’s goal of encouraging effective use of open educational resources by educators to engage students in real-world educational experiences.
