Overview
SciDev.Net is an online source of news about science and technology for global development, with six regional news desks around the developing world. The organization’s purpose is to promote greater uptake of science evidence and technological innovations in policies and programs that reduce poverty, promote social wellbeing and build sustainable economic growth. This grant would support a 12-part series of articles and data visualization around the topic of Data Driven Development. The series will showcase experiences of governments in making effective use of data for policy and program development, convert data and research into information that is broadly, and explore the themes of accountability and transparency.
