United Nations Foundation

For Consultations In Support Of The Post-2015 Development Goals

Overview
This project would continue support for the United Nation Foundation’s activities that are contributing to global agreement about a post-2015 development agenda. With this funding, the Foundation would continue to compile and share information about the topics under discussion at the U.N. related to the post-2015 agenda, which has proven to be a valued resource to civil society organizations and others who seek to be engaged in the post-2015 process. In addition, the Foundation would continue to facilitate a constructive dialogue among member states and experts from around the world about challenging topics, including but not limited to transparency and governance, improvements in data for monitoring progress, and policymaking.

for the U.S. Climate Alliance
The U.S. Climate Alliance is a bipartisan coalition of governors representing 24 states, with more than 60% of U.S. GDP, 55% of the U.S. population, and 40% of U.S. emissions. These governors are committed to driving the nation’s ambitious climate agenda by working in partnership with each other, the federal government, and the international community. The alliance has an important role to play in implementation of federal climate investment laws by supporting state engagement with federal agencies, supporting the development of state decarbonization plans, and supporting effective deployment of federal dollars to drive decarbonization and community economic development.
