Sarah Singh co-directs the communities program at Accountability Counsel, a San Francisco-based nonprofit that amplifies the voices of communities around the world to protect their human rights and environment. Sarah leads a team of attorneys who support communities around the world to effectively use accountability mechanisms tied to international finance. She has led cases in Colombia, Haiti, Liberia, Kenya, Mongolia, and Russia, among others.
Before joining Accountability Counsel, Sarah clerked for the Honorable Marsha S. Berzon on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is a graduate of UC Berkeley Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Brown University. Sarah serves on the board of EarthRights International and is a member of the Flora Family Foundation.
