Megan Rossi

Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, Human Resources

Megan Rossi is the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition at the Hewlett Foundation. She is responsible for managing employee recruitment and onboarding and creating solutions to ensure best practices for building and developing an inclusive, equitable, diverse, and collaborative workforce. Megan leverages her extensive experience and passion for equity-centered processes to drive impactful HR strategies that identify, attract, and retain top talent, empower employees, foster growth, and contribute to the overall work of the foundation.

With almost 20 years of experience in nonprofit HR management, particularly in talent acquisition and recruitment, Megan has also built expertise in multiple other areas of HR including employee engagement, employee relations, training and career development, event management, and customer service. She started her career at the American Heart Association as a Training Coordinator and spent her 12-year tenure there as an integral part of the team developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, streamlining hiring processes, and ensuring a seamless new hire orientation and onboarding experience for both staff and volunteer interns.

Megan received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from San Francisco State University and studied gender and sexuality studies at the University of Amsterdam. In 2019, Megan earned her SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification, further enhancing her credentials and reinforcing her commitment to excellence in the HR field.
