Megan Olmsted
Megan Olmsted is the HR Operations Manager at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Megan joined the foundation in the spring of 2023 and assists across all HR functions.
Megan came to the Hewlett Foundation after eight years of HR and office operations experience at the Skoll Foundation, where she focused her time on responsibilities such as payroll administration, HRIS administration, HR regulatory compliance, managing system implementations, and talent acquisition. At the Skoll Foundation, Megan recognized she was energized by finding ways to streamline processes and implementing new tools to help with efficiency. Before the Skoll Foundation, Megan worked in administrative roles at various startups and nonprofits, such as JustAnswer, UCSF Behavioral Diabetes Research Group, and AIDS Walk Los Angeles.
Megan holds her PHRca certification and a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University.
