Evelyn Morfin

Associate Director of Private Investments

Evelyn Morfin is an Associate Director of Private Investments at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. She works closely with other members of the investment team to evaluate and select external fund managers, monitor their performance, and develop investment strategies across venture, buyout, and natural resources.

Prior to joining the foundation in 2021, Evelyn oversaw private investments for a $2 billion single-family office. She focused her time on seed and series A enterprise investments, as well as manager selection within venture. She started her career as a strategy consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton focused on technology investments and implementation for federal and commercial financial institutions.

Evelyn has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Barnard College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She has served on the board of Capital Good Fund and is a proud supporter of A Better Chance, America Needs You, Management Leadership for Tomorrow, and Sponsors for Educational Opportunity.
