Elsabete Kebede

Elsabete (Elsa) Kebede is a Communications Associate at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation supporting media relations efforts and internal events for the foundation.

Prior to Hewlett, Elsa briefly worked at Cisco where she helped execute internal communications strategies and events in addition to managing social media content for executives. Previously, she worked at MullenLowe, an integrated advertising agency, where she wrote press materials, conducted media relations and audits, and participated in new business research for a variety of accounts within the Los Angeles public relations team.

She graduated from San José State University in 2019 with a degree in public relations and a minor in professional and technical writing. While in school, she was a student assistant for the Department of Justice Studies and a public relations intern for agencies such as Davis & Associates Communication and Real Chemistry (formerly known as W2O Group).

In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her niece and nephews.
