We Are Still In aims to reassure other countries that American climate action is alive and well and sub-national actors in the U.S. are working hard to deliver on our Paris climate commitment. With support from the Hewlett Foundation, We Are Still In will help mobilize U.S. sub-national actors to deliver proof of action at the Global Climate Action Summit taking place in California in September 2018, as well as at the U.N. conference of parties in Poland in November.

Grants to this Grantee
for We Are Still In and sub-national pavilion at COP 23 Bonn
World Wildlife Federation supported the We Are Still In coalition’s engagement at the United Nation’s 23rd Conference of the Parties in Bonn, Germany, in November 2017. With support from the Hewlett Foundation, We Are Still In hosted a U.S. sub-national pavilion at the event, instilling global confidence in American leadership on climate change and thereby strengthening the implementation of the Paris Agreement and the international response to climate change.
for the U.S. climate action pavilion at the Poland COP
World Wildlife Fund hosted a We Are Still In, United States Climate Action Center, at the United Nation’s 24th Conference of the Parties climate meeting (COP24) in Katowice, Poland. Building on the recent Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco, the Action Center helped inject confidence within the international community on continued U.S. dedication to climate action, and strengthen and improve outcomes.
