Overview
This is to fund a report on the energy water nexus in India. India is experiencing enormous growth in coal mining and coal fired thermal generation. This is putting a great strain on water resources in many parts of India. In addition market and subsidy reforms could greatly increase the efficiency of the Indian electric grid.
