Overview
With this organizational effectiveness support, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars' Wilson Center on the Hill would seek consulting assistance to develop and implement a comprehensive review of its fundraising strategies, to identify potential funders, and assist in grant writing and contacting potential funders. Wilson Center on the Hill's work is to highlight the importance of sustainable growth in the developing world and to focus on global trends that affect the prospects for developing country growth for staff and members of the U.S. Congress and for those working on Capitol Hill. It was established in 2008 with two grants from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation which continues to be its sole funding resource. Wilson Center on the Hill will hire Bridget Gallagher as a fundraising consultant to help plan and implement a fundraising initiative which is essential to the continued operation of the organization.
