Clean Tomorrow, a fiscally sponsored project of the Windward Fund, advances policies that reduce climate emissions by turning policy ambition into action. Clean Tomorrow focuses on securing lasting climate progress through diverse alliances of policymakers, industry, and advocates. As a new nonpartisan and outcome-driven program, Clean Tomorrow is seeking to reimagine the federal innovation pipeline, support clean energy deployment, and enable the decarbonization of the U.S. industrial sector. This grant will fund research, engagement, and communications work that is educational in nature.
for Rural Climate Partnership’s communications program
The Rural Climate Partnership, a fiscally sponsored project of the Windward Fund, supports rural-led solutions to address climate pollution; implements solutions by advancing a narrative of inclusive opportunity; and ensures equitable distribution of benefits from climate investments, with particular emphasis on supporting rural communities of color to lead on climate solutions. Through grantmaking, technical assistance, policy advocacy, organizing, and strategic communications, the partnership delivers tangible benefits that rural people can see and feel. Historic federal climate investments provide a tremendous opportunity to center working people, small businesses, and family farmers as the drivers of rural climate solutions and narrative transformation.
