Welcoming America

Welcoming America is a nonpartisan organization that works to help communities develop the roadmap they need to create welcoming policies and share new approaches to inclusion to create an environment where everyone can thrive. This grant is in support of Welcoming America’s 2023 conference, which was held in San Jose, California, a city that has played a leading role in immigration inclusion and racial equity work.

Welcoming America supports communities building a welcoming society where every person, including immigrants, can fully contribute to and shape our shared prosperity. Its work is centered on connecting leaders in community, government, and nonprofit sectors; providing tested methods and approaches to creating inclusive, welcoming places for immigrants; and helping communities create policies, reinforce welcoming principles, and communicate the socioeconomic benefits of inclusion. This grant provides general operating support for the organization.
