Water Integrity Network

Over the past sixteen years, the Water Integrity Network has grown into a mature and well-respected NGO working closely together with its partners to place the issue of integrity in the water and sanitation sector higher on the global agenda. WIN had achieved meaningful results on the ground in a number of countries and organizations. WIN has recognized that the task of building integrity takes time and commitment. As a small organization, WIN has created a niche for itself as a catalyst for the promotion and implementation of integrity actions in the water supply and sanitation sector. They rely strongly on their partners and other stakeholders as they strive together to achieve integrity. This grant is to support the redevelopment of their website and social media presence as part of the objective 4 of their current strategy which is aims at the organizational development of the Network

The Water Integrity Network (WIN) is an international nongovernmental organization that works to improve transparency, citizen participation, and accountability in the water sector within select countries and globally. WIN will build the capacity of civil society organizations, water user associations, and water activists to use tools and strategies that enable citizen oversight of water services; build coalitions to advocate for more responsive government provision and regulation of water services; and organize global advocacy campaigns to promote better water governance. The Water Integrity Network supports its members in identifying risks to effective water governance, demonstrating approaches for civil society and citizen groups to work collaboratively with government and implementing awareness raising and advocacy campaigns to improve the quality of water services. This organizational effectiveness grant will support the Water Integrity Network to develop a longer-term fundraising strategy and plan, and build the capacity of its staff to manage fundraising efforts.
