Grants to this Grantee
for support of the Center for Effective Lawmaking
The Center for Effective Lawmaking is a new, nonpartisan research and policy center at the University of Virginia, with collaboration from Vanderbilt University, which will build on the initial research of the Legislative Effectiveness Project. The center envisions its work contributing to a Congress of effective lawmakers, strong institutional capacity, and the incentive structure needed to address America’s greatest public policy challenges. The center will advance research, communication, and the use of new knowledge about the effectiveness of individual lawmakers and legislative institutions in Congress.
