KDFC is part of a group of classical music radio stations broadcasting throughout California and owned by the University of Southern California’s USC Radio Group, the largest nonprofit classical radio network in the United States. KDFC’s mission is to make classical music and the arts a more important part of more people’s lives by presenting classical music programming, and by producing and presenting programming that features the arts and culture of Northern California. KDFC’s five local radio stations attract 335,000 weekly listeners, plus an additional 105,000 listeners through mobile and digital channels.
