For Evaluating The Impact Of A Digital Counseling Application "miPlan" On Contraceptive Uptake

Overview
This grant would provide funding for a randomized control trial conducted by the Center for Interdisciplinary Inquiry and Innovation in Sexual and Reproductive Health at the University of Chicago. The trial would test a digital iPad application, miPlan, in waiting rooms of two Chicago Planned Parenthood clinics. The application contains information on all methods of contraception as well as a video on the most effective contraceptive methods. The researchers will assess whether patients who use miPlan are more likely to choose the most effective forms of contraception.
