United States Artists is a national artist service organization. Founded in 2006, it supports artists with grants and professional development services, and it advances the role of artists in society through coalition building and policy research. The organization’s efforts, including its signature USA Fellowship program, have supported over 1,000 artists across all disciplines with approximately $50 million in direct funding, helping to cultivate a diverse creative ecology that celebrates the depth and breadth of artistic practice in communities large and small.
