Overview
The United Nations Foundation links the work of United Nations agencies with others around the world. This grant would facilitate support to the World Health Organization and possibly other U.N. agencies for technical assistance to governments, field coordinators, health workers, infection prevention and control experts, data managers, and logisticians. The United Nations Foundation is able to respond quickly to needs as they arise among U.N. agencies that are unable to raise funds individually.

Grants to this Grantee
for the U.S. Climate Alliance
The U.S. Climate Alliance is uniquely suited to help states deliver on historic opportunities for bold climate action and maximize the potential of the Inflation Reduction Act to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This grant will support states as they harness new federal resources, creating in-house secretariat capacity to provide technical, policy, and communications assistance to states, at scale, and deliver critical flexible funding. for the U.S. Climate Alliance
The U.S. Climate Alliance is a bipartisan coalition of governors representing 24 states, with more than 60% of U.S. GDP, 55% of the U.S. population, and 40% of U.S. emissions. These governors are committed to driving the nation’s ambitious climate agenda by working in partnership with each other, the federal government, and the international community. The alliance has an important role to play in implementation of federal climate investment laws by supporting state engagement with federal agencies, supporting the development of state decarbonization plans, and supporting effective deployment of federal dollars to drive decarbonization and community economic development.
