For Strengthening U.S. Leadership On International Reproductive Health And Family Planning

Overview
This grant would support the United Nations Foundation’s Universal Access Project, currently supported by eight donors and designed to regrant funds for activities that foster stronger U.S. leadership in reproductive health. The project would seek three outcomes during the grant period: (1) sustained U.S. funding for international reproductive health and family planning; (2) more effective and integrated U.S. policies on reproductive health and family planning; and (3) enhanced capacity and collaboration of the reproductive health advocacy community.

The U.S. Climate Alliance is uniquely suited to help states deliver on historic opportunities for bold climate action and maximize the potential of the Inflation Reduction Act to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This grant will support states as they harness new federal resources, creating in-house secretariat capacity to provide technical, policy, and communications assistance to states, at scale, and deliver critical flexible funding. for the U.S. Climate Alliance  
The U.S. Climate Alliance is a bipartisan coalition of governors representing 24 states, with more than 60% of U.S. GDP, 55% of the U.S. population, and 40% of U.S. emissions. These governors are committed to driving the nation’s ambitious climate agenda by working in partnership with each other, the federal government, and the international community. The alliance has an important role to play in implementation of federal climate investment laws by supporting state engagement with federal agencies, supporting the development of state decarbonization plans, and supporting effective deployment of federal dollars to drive decarbonization and community economic development.
