Overview
In recognition of the Hewlett Foundation’s 50th anniversary, the Hewlett 50 Arts Commissions initiative supports the creation and premiere of 50 exceptional works of performing arts. This grant will support "Dreamer," a composition on sanctuary cities and immigrant experiences that will premiere in the San Francisco Bay Area no later than December 2020.

There is also an allocation in this grant for wellness in furtherance of the organization’s charitable purpose.
