Overview
This grant to Torchlight Collective will support the Preclusion Project, which aims to make health and legal systems, organizations, activists, and donors more educated, prepared, and structurally resilient to the Global Gag Rule (GGR) and other potential U.S. anti-gender policies. The project provides trainings, technical support, strategic advice, and risk assessments for NGOs who could be affected if these policies are put into place under a new U.S. administration. Specifically, our support will allow the Preclusion Project to expand its work into Francophone West Africa and Lusophone countries to prepare Hewlett grantees and other field actors.
