Grants to this Grantee
for corporate engagement on climate policy
Public support for climate action is growing, particularly in the Midwest and Sunbelt. However, many interest groups are concerned that climate policy could hurt them economically or not include and benefit them. These constituencies, and the policymakers who represent them, could hold the key to enacting ambitious and equitable climate policies. This grant supports two projects: The first will engage companies to build support for robust climate action, clarifying the economic opportunities associated with decarbonization. The second will engage leaders, experts, and advocates of color in climate policy development. (Substrategy: U.S. National Policy)
for the climate and energy program's work on economic rescue and recovery
This grant supports research, analysis, and advocacy to help transition the U.S. economy toward net-zero emissions in an equitable, worker-friendly way, using the window presented by the response to the deepening recession caused by the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. (Substrategy: U.S. National Policy)
for the Cyber Enforcement Initiative
Third Way Institute’s nonpartisan Cyber Enforcement Initiative is a public policy initiative dedicated to strengthening governments’ ability to identify, stop, and bring cybercriminals to justice. Third Way Institute brings together diverse stakeholders and researches, develops, and advances efforts aimed at enhancing the U.S. government’s cyber enforcement capabilities, and shares that research with the international community. (Substrategy: Core Institutions)
