Overview
Theatre Bay Area (TBA) s the leading service organization for arts organizations in Northern California. There are over 350 company members in the region and it partners with national arts service organizations to deliver high quality programs to individuals and organizations beyond its own membership too. As a field leader TBA is regularly asked by funders and arts organizations to play a convening role in bringing people together to discuss ways in which the arts sector can be improved. Currently its conferencing technologies are rudimentary - a basic phone service and Skype. Thus, with a high quality video conferencing suite this organization will not only facilitate approximately 2 meetings a month to better plan and implement programs ranging from statewide advocacy efforts, to building social media skills and sharing mailing lists and marketing information among arts organizations, but can make the suite available to individual members and collaborators as well.
