Overview
Ed Funders helps maximize philanthropy's effectiveness in U.S. public education reform by convening foundations and encouraging policies that advance proven programs to prepare underserved students for twenty-first century challenges. It hosts quarterly working meetings, educational meetings with federal officials, and international seminars with education leaders.
The following two grants would renew funding we provided in 2009 related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

The group’s mission is to help maximize philanthropy’s effectiveness in systemically improving public education for all students as the foundation for a healthy democracy and vibrant communities.
