for publication of a book about exemplary deeper learning schools
This proposed grant would support the publication of a book by Monica Martinez—a former leader of one of our Proof Points school networks, the New Tech Network—that will provide concrete examples of practices and schools that are helping disadvantaged students acquire deeper learning skills today. This project aims to raise the profile of these examples in the national education policy debate, so that deeper learning becomes synonymous with high-quality education and with college readiness.PostsecondaryBoard Grants
