Better known as the Imaginists, Knights of Indulgence Theatre United States is an experimental community-based ensemble that produces work that investigates the intersection of art, activism, and community. It reaches 6,000 people each year through a series of performances and educational programs that are often site-specific, bilingual, and reflect the organization’s commitment to including a wide range of voices in its artistic processes. This grant will help support the Imaginists to undertake a capital campaign and purchase the building that has served as the organization’s home for the past nine years.
